How Do I Meet People?

Jasper First Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at JFBC.

Small Group/Sunday School

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, JFBC has age appropriate Bible studies held at church each Sunday morning at 9:30 am.    A detail list of adults classes is coming very soon!

Children Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children's instruction.
Youth Ministry
Students grades 7th thru 12th meet each Sunday morning at 9:30 am in the Youth Room.  Classes are gender specific and divided up into middle/high school ages.  We also have have male & female groups that meet on Sunday night for accountability and growing in God's word.
 Women's Ministry
JFBC Women's Ministry gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women's ministry for Bible study and prayer the second Sunday of every month at 4:30 pm.  This is a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in our church.
Men's Ministry
Men's Ministry meets the 3rd Saturday of each month for Breakfast, Bible study and accountability.  We meet at either Cracker Barrel or Shoney's  for breakfast and then dive into God's word together.
Senior Adult Ministry
Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Seniors of JFBC provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction the 3rd Thursday of every month.  They also go on trips/outings once a quarter to places like Cumberland County Playhouse and Miss Bobo's.  Who says Seniors can't have fun!!
