How Do I Meet People?
Jasper First Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at JFBC.
Bible Study
Bible study groups are designed to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, JFBC has age appropriate Bible studies held at church each Sunday morning at 9:15 am.
Children Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children's instruction. Wednesday nights is K4C (Kids for Christ) and it's a interactive time combined with music, games and Bible study.
Youth Ministry
Students grades 7th thru 12th meet each Sunday morning at 9:15 am in the Youth Room. Wednesday nights they meet at 5:45pm for games, music, and Bible study.
Women's Ministry
JFBC Women's Ministry gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women's ministry meets for fellowship, devotion and activity every 3rd Sunday night of the month. This is a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in our church.
Men's Ministry
Men's Ministry is currently being revamped at this time.
Senior Adult Ministry
Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the Seniors of JFBC provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction the 3rd Thursday of every month at 12 noon. They also go on trips/outings once a quarter to places like Cumberland County Playhouse and Miss Bobo's. Who says Seniors can't have fun!!
